The Founding 100

Disciple Dozen started at a kitchen table, with a stack of hand-cut cards and a simple question: could our kids name the twelve men who walked with Jesus? They couldn’t. Neither could most of the adults in the room.

The first print run was one hundred decks. Each one was numbered by hand, boxed, and sent to a family, a classroom or a ministry who agreed to actually play it and tell us the truth about it. Deck #001 through deck #100. No influencers, no ad budget — just a hundred people willing to be first.

They played it on road trips, in church classrooms, at co-op tables and on hospital trays. They told us which rules confused their six-year-olds, which cards their teens fought over, and which verse everyone kept quoting afterwards. Nearly everything you hold in the current edition — the rewritten rulebook, the larger card text, the scoring change for the Jesus set — came out of what they sent back.
